Dear Sirs:

This is directed to the people who put together Celestia. My name is John Ringo and I write science fiction novels. However, my interests have always been military and history with very little hard background in space sciences. Since this has always been a handicap, I've searched for something to assist me in really _understanding_ the stars around the earth. For years. Then I found Celestia.

So, thanks. I'm working on a book at the moment about the first steps out beyond the solar system and Celestia is the cornerstone of the endeavor. Be sure that I'll make appropriate acknowledgements.
