Hi folks:

We are all interested in some really beautiful space music to cruise Celestia to. For some time, I have been listening to Live365.com, a streaming radio website that plays over 1000 web radio stations. The site is free, but they do pester you to join (for a monthly fee), to avoid being interrupted by occasional ads. However, the interruptions are not too often, and some of the stations contain magnificent music for Celestia.

Two of my favorites are:

Internet Oasis, and Astreaux World. Internet Oasis plays beautiful music all the time. Astreaux World plays a mix of music styles but on Saturday nights, it is dedicated to the most melodic space music I have ever heard. It is ... well ... hear for yourself.

Its website is: http://www.astreauxworld.com/ When you get there, click on the "Listen" tab, and Live365.com will launch. Choose the media player you wish to use. Ignore the opening ads. The music will play within a minute or so.

Enjoy

Frank

Frank -- you forgot to mention this was for broadband connections only, and that you need lots of patience! After 5 web pages, I heard maybe 15 sec. of "that music" (Live365), then a minute of downloads and more ads, then 15 sec. of music, more ads, and I finally gave up during another several minute download. Let me know when you find the music on a CD. I'm too old to have that kind of patience.
