Celestia on a 30" LCD screen

Yesterday, I visited some computer store here, in Montreal. There was this nice Mac dual G5 with the monstruous Apple 30" LCD screen. So I downloaded the current official Celestia on it, and launched the app with a full screen window. Well, ... my jaw falled on the ground, my eyes left their orbit, and I had to sit on something !!!

This was trully spectacular ! Celestia was then totally immersive, cinema-IMAX like experience. Geez, I think I'll have to go back to the store just to play more with that thing, and download more Celestia stuff on that computer.

I really had the strong impression I was there, near Jupiter and Io, or flying around Saturn. I visited Mars and the GMS satellite in orbit around it, I saw the ISS near Earth, all LIVE, like the real thing !

Awwww! I wish someone had taken a picture of this, so we could have seen it here on the forum..... Ah well, maybe next time you go in, you can show us a picture of the LCD screen instead!!!!
