Request: Help on finding lost spacecrafts.

When trying to search for a spacecraft that??s no longer in use (Huygens, Galileo etc), Celestia will end up, staring out in the empty space. Instead I would like to see an alertbox appear when one searches for a craft that is lost, telling the user that he has to change the date.

Example:

"The spacecraft <NameOfCraft> as you are looking for was launched <StartDate> and ended up in <EndDate>. To see the craft you have to set a date between those two."

I don??t know if this is possible to do, but it should be a nice feature.

agreed, but even better would be to have celestia give you the OPTION as to wether or not you want to have the messages show up.

Well, this is good news! I really hope this patch will be integrated in the next version of Celestia.
