OS X 10.3.9 performences

I just installed OS X 10.3.9, 5 minutes ago, from 10.3.4, and I can't believe what I just saw in Celestia 1.4.0.

I made a very detailed and polygonal space station model for Celestia, last week, and I got typically 4.5 to 5 FPS in Celestia. Now, it raised up to almost 20 FPS using the same model !?!! GEEZ! IT ROCKS !

Yes, I'm experiencing a major problem with Safari : While I'm writing this reply, I can't see my text cursor in the text field !!

Also, Celestia crashed two times while I was moving around the moon. I'm unable to reproduce that bug, which I NEVER experienced before this update. Hmmm!

However, I can certify my Celestia frame rate is dramatically increased by this update. As another example, the Nostromo model, which is huge, was giving me about 2 or 3 FPS before the update. Now, I'm getting about 10 FPS, which is a HUGE difference.
