Ring Systems, Protoplanetary Disks, HELP...

How do I add rings to my planets, I have the .png file for the rings, i put in the correct parameters for the rings, but they don't show up when I look at my system in Celestia. 
Is it also possible to add a ring system to a star, although not very scientifically accurate- it'd still look cool. Speaking of which, Can I put a protoplanetary disk around star such as Vega or Beta Pictoris, which are known to have protoplanetary disks.
