dallas:
Your movie of the Space Station was spectacular. I couldn't believe how close to the actual movie in space it was.
Some suggestions:
1. Download the higher resolution version of Earth, and of the PanAm clipper. There is also a higher resolution model of the big Space Station.
You can find the best high-res Earth at this website:
http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/catalog/earth.php
There are lots of choices. I particularly like Don Edwards textures, but you can make your own choices.
The detailed Pan Am clipper Orion 3 space plane is a detailed add-on crafted by Jestr. Here is a screenshot of it.
Jestr also did a spectacular model of the Space Station, that is even more detailed than the one included with my 2001 Space Odyssey add-on. Here is a screenshot of it.
Jestr has both add-ons somewhere. They are not yet on Motherlode, but he once had posted them on one of his other websites. Contact him and see if he can repost a link to them. If not, I will package up both of them and post them on the Motherlode for him (with his approval).
Imagine the movie redone with this level of textures. WOW
By the way, I have made contact with Arthur C. Clarke. He would love to see your movie with the newer textures.
Let me know if you'd like to reshoot it.

Thanks! I need to work more on it. At least I learned how to use the movie maker. I?€™s been sitting there for 2 years and I ?€?ve never used it. I?€™ll download the addons and make another.

Here's another with an upgraded Orion and Earth from Jster. I need to buy a good editor. I ran out of disk space and had to burn the segments onto CDs. Windows Movie Maker is ok but there's not alot you can work with as far editing. Thanks fsgregs for the suggestion!
Celestia 2001 Space Odyssey......(sort of)..

Thanks! I love playing with this stuff. I just run out of disk space. I'll see if there's a place for it...
