Simple question about installing new textures

Please could you help. I've tried many pages but can't quite find the answer.

Step 1. Download a new Earth texture from an add-on website

Step 2. Save it in the Addon folder in Celestia installation folder

Step 3. Edit a text file by inserting a new line to tell Celestia about the new texture that I just downloaded. Which file? What do I write in the new line? Is there more than one way of doing this?
