I apologize for the simple question: When I download addons for Celestia (for example, any of the stuff from the Celestia Motherlode page), how do I make it work in the Celestia program?

I have downloaded several of the Educational Activities (including the mandatory texture upgrades), but can't figure out how to run them.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

You need to read Frank's instructions. They're on the same Motherlode page with his educational Addons.
Specifically: http://celestiamotherlode.net/creators/fsgregs/Letter_to_Users.zip

You have to unzip it and read the enclosed Word DOC file.

If you follow the instructions in the Letter to Users and Educators in the Educational Activities page of Motherlode and still have trouble getting the add-ons to run, e-mail me privately at fs.gregs@gte.net, and I will try to help you through the problems. Generally, they involve where the add-ons are residing within the Celestia folder.
