.png and .dds files in the same VT folder?

.png and .dds files in the same VT folder?

Just wondering if there is a way to have .png texture files and .dds files in the same set of VT folders? I see there is a FileType field in the .ctx file - can it be altered to accept any file type or can multiple file types be listed there?
