Italian Celestia mini-guide/Mini-guida italiana a Celestia

Post #1by anarion9 » 23.09.2004, 18:48

Hello every one!
It's a lot of time I don't come to this forum, but I'm still interested in Celestia.

I'm writing to tell you that I've written a little -really little- guide to celestia for italian (ONLY italian!) speaking people (I know, you're there...).
You can find it here:
http://ilpalantir.altervista.org/intro_celestia.html

There is some generic info about celestia, an explanation of the more important commands for navigate Celestia universe, explained with some examples, and a translation of the command reference that comes with the program.
The guide is written with openoffice, and is avaible in html and pdf format.
The pdf may look strange if you open it with acrobat reader, but it will be printed ok.

I hope you will find it useful. Suggestions are welcome!
bye bye

Saluti a tutti

http://ilpalantir.altervista.org/intro_celestia.html

Ogni suggerimento ? benvenuto!
saluti

Hello anarion9, well done, :D Italian translations are missing in Celestia documentation, so happy to see it.
Do you think you'll do any other translation in the next future? 8O
By and welcome!

Translastions?
No, I don't think I will, I'm not so good in translations, I'm better in writing directly in English or -obviously- in Italian.

But I think I'll write something more about Celestia in the next couple of months, people at my astronomy club (ORSA, Palermo) are asking it, and we need also something to give to students after our little lessons with the schools.

I'd like to write something about coping with add-ons, something about scripting (but I have to study a little for this) and some little guided tour.
What would be your favourite topics?

As always, I will be happy to receive suggestions, corrections, ideas and any other feedback from you!

Regards
anarion9

Hello anarion9, regarding little tours for schools, give a look at this post

http://www.celestiaproject.net/forum/viewtopic ... 9&start=15

and, if you like it, go at this page and search under "andrea" 8O

http://celestiamotherlode.net/creators/

You'll find a not so big file (17 Mb) that contains everything needed to show an interactive "Virtual" planetarium. :P
Obviously, if you like it, I'll send you the files in Italian.
Try it, if you want.
