That's easy. Click Navigation, click Star Browser, click "with planets".

I'm a newbie too. I just checked the star browser and tagged "with planets" and only Sol shows up. Did I forget to download something?
UPDATE: Doh! Never mind, Windblows decided that the file extrasolar.ssc needed to be saved as a .txt file when I downloaded the new one!
