spent the day going to every asteriod from mars out to pluto.great space sim program . my congrats to everybody invovled.would like to design my own space stations and spaceships and put them into the Celestia program for use.am not a computer program type person.discovered this program by accident and am still learinghow to use it.the visuals have never been disappionting to see.please keep at it....

The first step in becoming a computer program type person is to use the space bar to separate your senetences and the shift key to capitalize the first letter of each one. Syntax is ver important in programming. I'm sure you'll be glad to know, just in case you haven't realized it, that making objects for Celestia does not require a "computer program type person". However, you do have to be willing to learn how to use a 3D design program (to make the models) and a paint program (to give them colorful surfaces).

It doesn't appear in Celestia, because it doesn't appear in the Hipparcos star catalogue, which Celestia uses as its database.
