The earth sits on the orbits of its orbiting objects

I am not sure this is not a dummy
question, but I asked for help, please. I was running Celestia 1.3.1 on my XP and enjoying every bit of this wonderful software. But I found that the earth sit on the orbits of its satellites. Should it be wrapped inside the orbits or is it a depth rendering problems?

Joe,
It might help if you could post a picture of the problem. I'm not sure that I even understand what your trying to say here. Do you mean that the orbit line of the Moon is running through the Earth? If not, can you explain the problem a little better?
Sorry. I'm one of the slow Celestia Users. That's why my website is called "Celestia For The Brain-Dead."
Take care, Bob

Bob,
I'm sure Joe means that orbit paths are always drawn behind the orbiting bodies.
Unfortunately, this is a long-standing problem in Celestia. The segments of orbit paths are not being depth sorted. Hopefully some day...

Like this?
(note, Phobos' orbit in completely "behind" Mars).
I never even noticed that before...

Really? That "bug" has been there forever, and it's been talked about many times... Doesn't look like it'll be fixed any time soon though...
