Hi,

I've been using the Pseudo "Pluck" for a couple of days and realised that I registered some time ago as Paul L. Apologies to the managment - I'm back.

I've just posted (perhaps incorrectly) to the textures database re: the new BlueMarble textures purported to be available from http://www.marfig.com/celestia. Is it just me, or is this site mostly down ?

If so, are they mirrored anywhere. I'm presuming that the textures contained in bm_vtex.zip at the Nasa site (also by the same author) are superceeded ?

Clarification appreciated by those in the know.

AFAIK, the NASA zip file is exactly the same as marfig.com/celestia's version. That site hasn't been working for ages; I have no idea what happened to it. I believe it was forum member wcomer who ran it though...

Actually it was Mario Figueiredo who ran that site. I just uploaded the texture. I'm not sure what ever happend to Mario, I haven't heard from him since his site went down.
