Changing the Font Size and colour for the locations-How?

Post #1by Dust_n_Gas » 11.01.2004, 21:56

Back after some time away, WOW!! 131 is amazing and the 16K moon by Praseape is awesome! As is the locations function, exploring the moon has become truly virtual!

I have done a search but find that the search turns up a huge number of threads which seem completely unrelated, so please do not berate me for posting the Question!

How do I alter the size and colur of the lables, the green colour can be difficult to see against a bright background such as the lunar features, I would like to substitute it for red, and also increase the font size by a step.

Thanks! :)

Dust_n_Gas (feeling cometary, are we?! :) )

No option at present to enlarge the text size - the only way would be to reduce your screen resolution, so the text seems larger in comparison. Colour change option would be a nice feature for a "preferences" dialog etc...? (Thoughts about this anyone?)

Don't know about color, but try changing the LabelFont-entry in celestia.cfg. Look in the fonts-directory for possible choices. This entry however will also change the labels of planets, moons, etc.

Thanks Folks, Harrys suggestion worked fine, though a clour option would be nice as well!
