XYZ coordinates control with Keyboard ?

Post #1by Rjp buisson » 20.12.2003, 11:28

I am back again here after problems with my Web provider connection :?
I am devolopping some documents on the differents XYZ systems available in our Celestia.
I'll post them in this forum as soon as they are ready.
But I have 3 questions right now:
1-Can we have full control the X/Y/Z coordinates of the observer (relative to the current system) directly with the keyboard :
for exemple set observer in the plane X=0 ?
2-Can we have the current X/Y/Z coordinates displayed on the screen?
3-Is it possible, while playing celestia interactively (keyboard/mouse), to lauch a small script to control/change our position (the observer) and get back in Celestia at that new position, as if we did it by Keyboard or mouse? I mean a sort of interactive scripting?...It would be so powerfull !!!
Anyway, thanks for your previous answers I just read today... 8O
