Beginning and Ending

I'm just having a general tidy-up of my CELESTIA installation, and amongst the things I'm doing is saving into my bookmarks, the location at the 'beginning times' of a few model add-ons that have beginning and ending times defined within their SSC.
This makes it very easy for me to go to, and view the model in question without having to set the date, or quickly reverse/ forward time, each time that I want to view the same model again.

However this can be a bit of a pain setting up, especially when Julian Dates are used in the SSC.

I'm just wondering if it would be possible for a future version of CELESTIA to automatically send the user to the starting date and time of an objects SSC, (if it has been specified) after you have selected it?

PS Probably a question for Jack Higgins!
If you could provide a list of beginning dates and times for your lunar landers in a day/month/year format it would be most helpful to me!!!

TERRIER,
Don't have time at the moment, but i'll send you on the dates as soon as I can. I've been busy all last week, and this weekend with study for the christmas exams (they're on next week as well). That's why I haven't replied to your last email yet as well...

....in the meantime (it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be :D ) I've managed to come up with a list of the start dates, in day/month/year format for all your current Russian lunar lander models with the help of a website I usually use for converting to/from julian dates. http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/JulianDate.html

Terrier, I just comment out all the start /finish dates in ssc so I can see the craft etc now. The invisible MIR question has come up at least a couple of times hasnt it? If I want to see them at the right time its easy enough, but it usually looks much the same...

You'd better believe it! :D

At least I have a couple of hours tomorrow morning before Chemistry- vast amounts of cramming...

(Actually it's not as bad as it sounds- I know everything pretty well, but you can never do too much study the [day before] / [morning of] the exam)
