Is it possible to run Celestia under Linux in full screen mode, in such away that no window decorations are visible? I mean a bahavior similar to that of the Alt+Enter command under Windows.

Using the KDE version you have a full screen mode, but the menu bar, tool bar and bookmark bar are shown, you can hide them and you'll have something very similar to the Windows full screen mode.

How do I hide those bars? With Celestia commands? With KDE commands?

You can hide them from the Settings menu. You can toggle the Menu itself with CTRL-M (important if you want to get it back!)
