Why can?t I go back further in time than 1752? I would love to explore the sky as it looked earlier than that.

It's a defect of the Windows date interface. You can get around it by simply running time backwards quickly to the date you're interested in.

I?ve already tried that but my computer always stops at 1752. In Starry Night, it is possible to choose any date you wish.

Hit J to reverse the direction of time, then L several times to accelerate the passage of time. I've just gone back to thousands of years BCE without any problems. Are you saying that your display freezes when 1752 is reached?
