Old news - it's gonna miss by a few million km I think... http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov for news on this kind of thing!

Yea, the new trajectory means it should safely pass by earth. If any of you guys are interested in asteroid impacts and the like this website is great.

Hmm... We actually know original orbits for some meteors (for example the Lost City meteor). Maybe someone could create add-ons for these? Could be cool to follow them as they drop on Earth.
