Does anyone know if it's possible to make celestia connect to a remote star database with periodic updates? This way you just select an option in celestia called update and then celestia would check for a new version of the database and apply to itself.

The same thing for spacecrafts for exemple... a online database for plug-ins (spacecrafts, comets, asteroids...). With one click you have the possibily to renew your Celestia data without have do it manually every new release.

Just ideas... please dont flame
