standard spacecraft xyz should be changed/updated...

An idea-

Since galileo is going to crash & be destroyed on sept. 21st, obviously it's xyz file won't be visible any longer either. Because galileo is the only xyz orbit included as standard with celestia, new users won't see any interplanetary craft without having to run time backwards. :(

SO... To fix this problem, i suggest that we should have Cassini as the spacecraft distributed as standard inside solarsys.ssc! Galileo could always remain of course, but it would be good to see a current mission too. I'm not just saying it because I made the model ( :D ) but because soon galileo will no longer be the best choice to show off the xyz orbit feature.

Of course, if you wanted you could always use my model  and then you could show the change between huygens attached & not attached etc... :D

It's up to the developers really I suppose- what do you think?

PS. After asking TERRIER's opinion on this idea, I think the voyager spacecraft should also be added to the standard celestia distribution. They just should be there! (It's not like the xyz & model file sizes are that big...)

This is a good idea Jack.
You are right, soon there will not be a real-time space craft model to view from the standard Celestia package.

And I do think that Voyager at least should be added to the Celestia install package.
But Voyager and Cassini would be nice.

This would add about 1meg to the install
But Celestia cannot get better without getting bigger.
