Feature Request- Meteors

I realize that there are more significant priorities in the development of Celestia, but not only would meteors be visually appeasing, but it would add more realism to the program. Along with the Earth locations, meteor showers could be scripted as discussed in earlier topics, with beginning and end times. Also, considering the Earth's atmosphere, adding the instantaneous streaks of light in calibration with their locations in real life would in many ways be acceptable. Because meteor showers are formed by remnants of passing comets such as the Leonids, their times, of course could be included in a new "search engine", just like the "eclipse finder". Just a thought. I hope it will be included some way in future versions to come.

I think this would be satisfied by being able to specify the color of "comet tails". It would be up to the person creating the addon to include appropriate beginning and endings for when the tails are visible.
