Which FOV do you use? I have it on 45.
Which do you prefer? Does it change depending on full screen / window mode?
Which one is more realistic?

I guess my question was too personal
that's okay!

I usually have the FOV set to less than a degree, but I've been doing things with deep space objects.
Celestia v1.3.1pre5 (or maybe it started with an earlier version) now keeps the magnification constant when you switch between windowed and full-screen modes. As a result, the FOV changes but the apparent size of the obect you're watching doesn't.

There are allready several threads on the subject of which being more realistic. Personally speaking however I prefer something like 26 degrees on my 17' monitor. From my normal viewing distance it's slightly smaller than real life, but still alows me to keep the constellation diagrams switched off.

I make the same considerations of Julesstop. Usually on my 17' screen I'm using a FOV of 25°.
Should seem silly but as reference I use the moon watched from earth surface. With 25° it seems to me of the same size that the real one that I watch outside my window.
Should be nice to have a feature that should be called eye view. Inputting, screen size and the average distance from screen, Celestia should calculate the correct FOV to simulate the eye - view.
