What is the real magnitude (in Celestia values) of starts in the clear cloudless sky that we can see at night?

Depending on where you live anywhere from 4.5 (middle of a big city) to something close to 7.0 (sparsely populated area). This is what I've seen from my own experience in my own country.

Though, anything larger than six should be considered highly exceptional.

I live in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Population of the city: nearly 2 milllion.

Just to clarify what I mean: with "4,5 middle of a big big city" I mean that you've allready found a dark spot in this city. In busy illuminated streets you're lucky to see anything above 2,0.
