It is the Happy face on Mars (Galle crater, on the rim of Argyre Planitia).

Don't scare me like that!
That URL goes to a time when it's on the night side of the planet, so everything goes black.
You won't see anything unless you have ambient light turned up.
Paul, I'd suggest prividing a URL for when it's in sunlight.
Also, I think El Pelado was referring to the other "face".

I believe the only "face" on Mars is in fact the Cydonia region. Here's the highest resolution nasa image of the "face"
http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/mgs/msss/camer ... verted.gif
As you can see, it clearly looks like a natural land feature rather than proof of extra-terrestial existance.

The other face on mars is Galle Crater, the one Paul "Calculus" scared me with

The other face (The Face) is not really visible with Celestia:

Hi El Pelado, all Celestians:
Effectively, Cydonia Face (aka "THe Face") as the Fortress, Pyramid etc. don't appears in Celestia, even w a 16k map: REmenber that it is only 2,5km long. But, The fantasm about the 2 black & white pictures taken by Vicking during his approach is just un optical effect, at the time and the position af the camera. The more recently pictures witch are shooted this region are corrected the look of these amazing hills... I suppose that the acurate maps of Mars will integrate these corrections, so, no chance to see these poor sci-fi picture to appear.
If you want to see It, you may create an add-on to place it in his ancient strange pattern!
(it seems to me that a add-on (not really good) of the Face is avaible for the Orbiter program, for example).. But is it necessary in Celestia?
Jeam Tag (witch have drawned this funny Face for a book cover many years latter, i like it... just a little:-)
