Can't be earth anyway too many craters...

Is north at top?

Hm... Is it part of the 3 small volcanoes on the very opposite side of mars to the valles marineris? (Sorry dont know the name...)

It is Mars. This is Elysium and the larger volcano is Elysium Mons.
This is a little snip of from several new Mars textures I am utting together.
This is from the final texture. If you look close I have intoduced some textureing in the suface to emulate erosion and vegitation. I will be posting several pictures from the textures in a day or so.

I have been working on recolaring mars so i noticed that the pic war of mars within 5sec. . It looks great
