New Moons

I noticed at the Horizons site that there are two new moons, a 59th Jovian moon (2003J19) and a new moon of Saturn (2003S01). Perhaps someone can make the .ssc file for these. I have no idea how to do it. If someone decides to do it, thank you.

I've just added them to my numbermoons.ssc file on the Celestia CVS tree at http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/celestia/celestia/extras/numberedmoons.ssc.

Also, I just added a link to the numbered moons file in the add-ons section of the Celestia site. Thanks for keeping it up to date, Grant!

Are any of the moons in the ssc file in this? That could make a little confusion if they are.

No, they're a matched set - solarsys.ssc with major moons, minormoons.ssc with the remaining named moons, and numberedmoons.ssc with the moons that are so far unnamed. So unless you've entered some moons yourself, there's no conflict.
