Hi all
While browsing horizons the other day, I discovered pioneer 10 & 11 have been added to their list of spacecraft! (Maybe because pioneer 10 finally went silent a few days ago- who knows)
Anyway, i've created 2 xyz files for these craft (running until 2049), which, along with an ssc file to run them, can be downloaded directly from http://homepage.eircom.net/~jackhiggins/celestia/ or if the site doesnt work download directly from http://homepage.eircom.net/~jackhiggins ... ioneer.zip
I also have very accurate xyz's for the two voyagers here, and for 4 fragments of SL-9.

P.S. Anyone know if there's a model of pioneer to be downloaded anywhere?

Finally! Thanks for packaging these as xyz/ssc files . . . The Voyager model seems like a reasonable compromise until we can track down an actual model of the Pioneer spacecraft.

I've been playing with SL9 and I don't understand why the A B C and D pieces don't have the same coordinates before SL9 breaks apart. Any explanation ?

Um... im not really sure about that one to be honest Calculus.. SL9 was never actually observed in one piece though -was it? so we dont really know when it broke up, and apparently its been orbiting jupiter since 1920...?

I have no idea really i just have it starting in 1980 because it looks really good looping around jupiter all those times!!!

I just put up a set of xyz's for the Ulysses solar polar probe on the site also (really unusual orbit) & it does a flyby of jupiter in feb 1992!

Ill be putting a few more craft up in the next few mins actually updates soon...

Update:

Now on the site are:

xyz's for the Galileo Probe, running up until a few hours before it actually entered Jupiter's atmosphere (xyz's only go that far on horizons)

xyz's for object j002e3, with a readme you can access also

ssc's for Cruithne & other earth *orbiting* asteroids, mentioned in the readme about j002e3.

Yet more coming in the near future...
