A while ago I made a snapshot compilation of the best Galilean mutual events for the period 2002-2003. I did the same for the Saturnian Mutual Events for the period 1995-1996.
Have a look:

So how reliable did you find Celestia's positioning of the Saturnian moons? Also, what source did you use to look up the times of the events?

Celestia is now very good in positioning the saturnian moons (beside the light time delay). My source is the accurate BDL (Bureau Des Longidutes) in Paris,France:

Except for Phoebe, which is 180 degrees off
-- just like the Uranian moons?

I fixed the Uranian moons for 1.2.6 . . . I haven't touched Phoebe yet however.

With the major new features (esp. multiview) maybe it should be v1.3?
usually upping a minor version number just indicates a bug fix release...
This makes me wonder what it'd take for a release of Celestia to be called v2!
