The Columbia's disaster is such a tragedy... Those people aboard it gave their lives for the future of Humanity. Such sacrifice should not stay in vein. Therefore, we propose a monument to them to be build into Celestia.
Desing a monument, it's look and some specifications. If you are eager to do it, you can made a model immediatly as well. Post it here. After a some quantity has been collected, the poll shall be created on the General discussion board. The Celestia Community will cast a votes for each of desings determing the most appropriate one. That one will be modeled by someone within this community, someone who thinks he's capable of doing it.
This would be a memorial place for Columbia's crew and Columbia itself, a contribution of all Celestia members hoping that these tragedies won't happen again.... or at least not that often.
