Celestia as a desktop

One feature I'd like to see is the ability to use Celestia as an Active Desktop. It would be cool to see a planet rotating in the background while I'm doing stuff or just while my machine is idle. Obviously it should be able to act as a screensaver as well. Anyways, I'm just curious if anyone has modified Celestia to act this way or has plans to do so. I realize that this feature is probably not a priority for Chris and I have no idea how easy/hard it would be to implement the feature. However, I felt I should put this forward as a feature request and maybe open some dialogue about the idea. I seem to recall that some other people expressed an interest in Celestia being used as a screensaver. I think it would be a worthwhile project.

Cheers,
Fleegle

I have WinXP, it never got to crash the PC, but the application did crash on several occassions when deactivating it. Aslo, I needed to reconfigure the background for the desktop as the application turns it black.

It would be impossible at the moment, since celestia constantly uses 100% cpu time. No matter what you do or render or show.
