Official list

Hi to all.

I was asking me if should be possible to create, for the future celestia versions, a minimal base package and a list of official add-on collected from the various people that are involved?

For a series of reasons like size and interest, I think that including these add-on in the base package probably won't be an ideal solution.

For "official" I mean add-ons regarding real and truly expansions, tested and approved directly by the development team. These official add-on should be downloadable directly from the official web-site.

I think that not so far this topic will be a must because the number of 3rd party add-on is increasing and the risk of mixing real and accurate with fictional elements is raising. :?

This mechanism should become also a rewarding system for the very good work that a lot of people is doing.

What do you think about? :D

Hi, Mike

I'm not able to reach you website:

http://mikecelestia.web1000.com

Also typing the address directly I always get this page:

http://web1000.globalreachinc.com/404/m ... arch2.html

Have you got any suggestion?
Bye

I dunno, the link and typing it in directly both work for me. Although web1000 has been giving me some ftp trouble, maybe it's related.

Hy Mike

I'm sorry but there is no way for me to reach your website.
I've tried at home and at work.

At home I have a personal firewall and at work we have a corporate professional one. Do you think that the firewall should interfere?

Bye

Paolo:
I'd guess your firewall is preventing you accepting session cookies - mine similarly prevents access to Mike's site unless I change the cookie setting to a more liberal one.

Hi billybob884!

I recommend you Netfirms, it provides 25 Mb free space through fast ftp access and no pub-ads

You can also take a look at Telepolis, wich provides 50 Mb of storage but has some pop-up ads.
(in Spanish :!: )

I'm also considering something I read on a previous post, about getting space under shatters.net. At least I could use this for my files. Does anyone know how to set this up?
