in which folder i have to take the dds files plz?

put the dds file into the MEDRES directory
then you will have the edit the solarsys.ssc file that is in your DATA directory (useing notepad)

find the refrence the the planet you are updateing.
and change the texture name

EG: if you have downloaded a new earth texture, called NewEarth-4k.dds.
change the texture line,

from

"Earth" "Sol"
{
Texture "earth.jpg"

To

"Earth" "Sol"
{
Texture "newearth-4k.dds"

And if our Mr. Anonymous above happens to be a LINUX Newbie, he will be searching for "notepad" for ever;-).
