In a choice of computer configuration your help is necessary for me.

I failed with running 1.2.5 on my Compaq Presario Athlon4 - 1000mhz/192Mb/ATI Rage Mobility

So , what notebook you will advise to buy?

I have tried Celestia in laptop IBM T30 Pentium IV 1800 Mhz 256MB and ATI Mobility RADEON 7500 with XP SP1 (around $2400).
He works fine in it.

You seeem to be having a lot of trouble over things you are not describing to our ears , stuff you look with and stuff. ( sorry I can't spell eyes).

Notepad is a program you get with windows, like a word processor, only a bit more basic.

You should be able to edit your celestia files ( ssc) with this quite easily.

You don't need anything else.
