A simple thank you

This is my first post to the Celestia forum. I stumbled upon Celestia a couple of weeks ago while searching for astronomy software. I simply want to say "Thank You!" to the developers of Celestia. What a wonderful program!
I have spent the two weeks since downloading C1.6 searching for add-ons and looking for ways to improve the already great default textures for planets, moons and stars. Thanks to artists like Jestr and John van Vliet, my solar system is coming alive.
I have friends coming from the U.K to visit in a couple of weeks. After installing Jestr's 64k Earth Mark 1 DDS textures, I will actually be able to show them the street they live on in Wiltshire. Amazing! Now if I can get that level of detail to where I live in Colorado, I will be happy. That is if my computer doesn't slow to a crawl. Tomorrows project is to finsh downloading John van Vliet's 32k Mercury surface maps.
Celestia looks to have a steep learning curve to it. I have been on enough website forums to know that you shouldn't ask questions in your first post lest I be told to read the manual or check the FAQs before asking noob questions. So I am reading the guides, reading previous posts and just spending some time learning what I can myself before checking with the experts here on the forums. That will leave you all with more time to develop more add-ons to download.
I have a long background with Microsoft Flight Simulators and my experience there helps me with installing add-ons. But instead of putting a new aircraft in the "addons" file in MSFS, I put a new planet in the "extras" folder. The ssc file is similiar to and cfg in flight Simulator and I learned enough to back up my original files before modifying them. From what i have seen and read, it looks like the community of developers is much like those arm-chair pilots over at Flight Simulator. Friendly and eager to help each other out so that the end result is a better experience for all.
Will I have suggestions for new features or add-ons? Definitely. But for now, I just want to say thank you again.
