I think the answer is pretty obvious...You need the solarsys.ssc to view the solar system in Celestia

Friends,
I wrote before this post that Celestia 1.2.5. CRUSHES when Solar Sysytem
appears ( 1 or 2 seconds after starting) . Then I delete solarsy.ssc - 1.2.5
working but without S.System. I noticed that file (solarsys.) was "desk
note" and anothers (files) in data was unknown for Windows.
Answer please can I download only solarsys.ssc file? And Where?

Did you make any changes to the Solarsys.ssc before it crashed ?
Keep at it black, don't give up
Together we will all get you up and running.
It's well worth it.
and here is the link
I hope this is the latest version Chris.

I`am tired to run 1.2.5. Celestia ( but I want to SEE it very strong)
This version works only without solarsys.ssc OR clicking F7 ( speed
1000 ly per second). I think the problem is in type of ssc-files. The files from
Rassilon and Darkmiss links Windows automatically tranceforming to notepad type (others files is unknown type for Windows).
So answer PLEASE how can I tranceform it from notepad type to unknown type?
Tank You and excuse me for English.

That doesn't matter what type of file it is !!! The thing that counts is to be a .ssc file !
What is your PC configuration ? Perhaps your crash is due to a rendering option affecting something in our solar system...

You can use WordPad to edit the SSC files that NotePad can't handle properly.
