These numbers suggest to me a base of regular users somewhere between 300,000 and 500,000 across the combined platforms.
Interesting that x.1, x.2 releases historically have received many more downloads than x.0 releases.
It seems that many people prefer to wait for the "Service Pack" release.
( .. or maybe it just indicates that these "Service Packs" have historically occurred relatively soon after the x.0 release, in which case I'd estimate the number of regular users to be more towards the higher end of the range.)
