That ol' Milky Way haze

Hi Chris. I have installed my new Nvidia GeForce 4 TI 4200 video card and am blown away to finally be able to see bump mapping, specular highlights, etc. Thanks for the advice. Celestia is now not just great, it is AWESOME. There is one thing I miss a little, though. Older versions of Celestia included a haze that you stretched across the blackness of space representing the billions of stars in the Milky Way. That haze was quite realistic and I felt, gave the universe a more expansive look. I've discovered that the new versions of Celestia have omitted the haze. Although I could get something similiar if I downloaded the very large star files that have been made available, those files really slow down my computer. I am using the standard star.dat file that comes with version 1.2.5. and there are not enough stars to really fill out the haze of the Milky Way's spiral arms.
Is there any way to turn the Milky Way's haze back on, or is it no longer present in Celestia 1.2.5?
Sincerely,
Frank Gregorio
