Unfortunately, Celestia does not include a way to directly specify the temperature of an object, althogh it can be changed by varying the object's albedo. There has been some discussion about how to display user-provided information, but I don't think that any decision has been made about it.

Celestia calculates the temperature of an object using the temperature of the Star (calculated from its luminosity and other factors), the object's albedo, and the distance between the two. The calculation "planetTemp" is in celestiacore.cpp, which is on SourceForge at
