Is NGC6240 is the galaxies.dat? Is there a way to add these two Black Holes into it?

Hehe, there is one hole in the center of our galaxy as well. I just thought of it, and it is quite terrifying, you never realise that something in the middle of our galaxy is destroying and sucking up billions of tons of matter at this very moment, when you are sitting behind your computer in pure silence :)

Actualy the black hole at the center of our galaxy is rather quiet. Its not really pulling much in at this time. If it was we would see massive jets shooting out the north and south galactic poles. Our galaxies black hole is sleeping quietly for now. Now if it started pulling stellar matter in I think we might start getting consered.

Not to mention things on a cosmic scale happen far less frequently than here on earth...Even if it were sucking in matter on a grand scale we wouldnt be sucked in for atleast 1 million or more years from now...if at all...Not too much to fret over really

Heh...1 million is too short. Try 25-30 million, and the gravity wouldn't be strong enough to pull us in.

Remember, a black hole is just like any other object, just that it is incredibly dense...if our sun were to suddenly turn into a black hole with the same mass(which would be impossible anyway), we wouldn't feel any difference gravitationally.
