Changing Units

I was just wondering if there is any way to change the extrasolar unit of distance from Lightyears to Parsecs? If not, would this be any easy feature to add in a future release?

Unfortunately, the only distance unit currently available for Stars and DSOs is the lightyear.

If you haven't already done so, please submit a feature request on SourceForge at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_i ... tid=371302
Be sure to select the group v1.7.0

Do you mean for data input? Since on output (in the display) the distance unit adapts and includes parsecs for objects at larger distances.

We chose light years since they are better known among non-experts, albeit professionally, parsecs are exclusively used.
