Well, I think You all allready are signed-up, but..
Mars rovers in 2003/4 will cary microDVD with >3e6 names into Mars.
You can add Your name at mars.jpl.nasa.gov...

Aha: Just think.. if the Rovers discover ancient life on Mars, ...

Hi, hi... After 10 years of further joint Celestia chatting, we should all agree to display out photos in this forum;-)

Ras, for example, I picture as a correctly dressed man always with a slick hair cut and a tie, of course...Slightly red hair, yes that could be him;-)

And yes I am a red-headed stepchild....not a hippy...

Nah really I have little to no hair and wear jeans and a t-shirt...not much for the corporate look :mrgreen:

Paul,

3e6 is a number written in one of the numeric input formats accepted by many software packages. In particular, it stands for 3 followed by 6 zeros, or 3,000,000 (using U.S. numeric formatting).

In other words more than 3 million names are on the chip.
