Not sure why because I do have them turned on and I haven't changed anything with my computer or drivers. They just not there anymore. :(

Are the shadows cast by objects derived from spheres or objects with a mesh? (Mesh objects do not cast shadows on some render paths)

What version of Celestia are you using?

What render path are you using? Can you bring the shadows back by cycling through the render paths with Ctrl-V?

Do you get ring shadows on plants or planet shadows on rings? Go to Saturn and take a look around. [How I wish we could do that for real!]

It turned out that the rendering path was changed. It was set to basic and not OpenGl vertex. I must have changed it by accident. :?

Thank you for the help BDM :)
