Unbeliveable perfomance boost with dual core

I receive my new Athlon64 X2 3800 and I was astonished to find that the perfomance really improves. In Mars2,I get now around 28-29 fps;when I had the Athlon64 3000,the frame rate was around 17-19 fps. This means that a single core with a 8600 GTS or a dual core with 7600 GT has similar results!

No,it was my mistake. The perfomance didn??t improve even a bit.I get horrendous frame rate around 16 fps. It??s an absurd;I buy a dual core processor for ALMOST NOTHING:

Mars2 DEMANDS a Geforce 8600 or better, and I DON??T HAVE MONEY TO BUY ONE ANYMORE.I??m very sad...

I gave a new chance to the Dual Core Optimizer and in fact, there is a SLIGHT improvement in frame rate. With this AMD utility, the frame rate goes from 15-16 fps to 21-22 fps. However, compared to the previous Athlon 64 3000,that had already have 17-19 fps,the improvement in perfomance is much smaller...

On the other hand,I didn??t need to close Celestia when navigating in internet.I was with 2 windows opened and Celestia was showing either Uranus or Neptune running at 1000X speed and apparently no slowdown or lockdown
