RGB colors in ssc-file

It's me again with new portion of questions.

The color of planet atmospheres is described with three parameters in ssc-file: RGB. But I didn't understand how to use these parameters. Usually RGB-gamma is described by variables between 0 and 255 (MS Paint). Other way to define the color is using the table of colors (as in HTML-code): for example, #f0f0f0. But in ssc-file I see
Lower [ 0.6 0.6 0.8 ]
What is it? :)

Celestia's RGB color values are in the range 0-1 instead of 0-255. This makes it easier to do arithmetic on them. Think of them as being shades of colors.
