But why is the Earths diameter mesured as half its size in kilometers in Celestia? according to this book I have the earths actual size is 12,756 km...Is the diameter variable not set up in kilometers?
I'm trying to teach the cavemen how to play scrabble, its uphill work. The only word they know is Uhh and they dont know how to spell it!

Heck yeah! Introduce the metric system in time... Imperial measures are completely useless. Unless you enjoy a future where we all have 12 fingers and 7 toes...
