Hi Group,

Has anyone done any add-ons for fictional "worlds'" such as the Star-Drive RPG, the Star Frontiers RPG, Traveller RPG, Warhammer 40K, etc?

I found one such add-on in the Fiction section of Motherload, but cannot seem to find any of the others (such as those listed above).

If no-one else has done them then I'll give it a go - but if they are already done than I'll save my time.

I think you can start right now!

There are at least a dozen complete fictional solar systems available for Celestia from a variety of add-on developers. Some of simple systems with 4 - 8 planets and some moons, using modest textures. Others are incredibly elaborate systems with dozens of worlds, moons, asteroids, rings, complete civilizations, spacecraft, wormholes, etc.

To find them, look on Motherlode or look in the forum "add-ons" section. Typically, you'll find them on add-on developer's personal websites.

As just one example, there is a complete Star Wars system, with over 100 objects in it. It is quite amazing. To download it, go to http://celestiasws.free.fr/pages/StarWarSaga.html

Download the entire system, place it in your extras folder in Celestia, then use the enclosed cel:url links to visit places in the system. To read the website, use a standard translator program on the web.
