NicRic,

Yes, you can transfer Celestia by copying its entire directory to your thumb drive and then copying its contents to your new system. XP can read the older Windows filesystems with no problems.

Yes, some registry features will be lost: Cel:URLs, CEL and CELX scripts won't be associated with Celestia on the new system.

For convenience, I'd suggest installing Celestia from scratch onto your new computer and then use your thumb drive to transfer your Addons.

The same Celestia installer works on all versions of Windows. If only your ME system currently has network access, you can download the newest version of Celestia's installer to that system and then use the thumb drive to move the installer to the new system.

Hi Selden,
Thank you very much for the reply to my ?'s ! I really appreciate your taking the time to reply .Idealy downloading the application for Celestia from scratch would be the way to go ,however Iam stilll stuck in the internet stoneage with a dial up ISP ! What I really need is to swich to a cable internet service or at the least DSL ! Right now its a monthly budget prob that includes a over spending wife and two young kids that are her little clones and my gadget obsession does'nt help either . Actually at work I have cable internet access ,so they woud not have any prob with my downloading the entire package to one of my three thumb drives (again gadet obsession rearing its head) You have a great day my friend .
Thanks Sincerely Nick
